Sales & Revenue Streams
Overview
The typical high level diagram of the partner sales process is as follows:
The partners works on securing potential customers, offering Dynamics Mobile Solutions and close deals with them. Finding potential customers with good fit, providing them with suitable demos, brochures and other resources and convince them to close the deal can be a long but beneficial process.
Once the deal is closed, the Dynamics Mobile solutions shall be delivered to the customer. The Dynamics Mobile solutions delivery/deployment depends on several factors like the required integrations, complexity of the business process and others. The delivery is a matter of time and implementation services provided by the Partner or/and Dynamics Mobile team.
Once the solution is delivered and the customer starts using the solution, the partner shall begin to provide support services to the customer.
Direct Revenue Streams
The following direct revenue streams are available for the partner:
Dynamics Mobile Subscriptions offered as part of the deal The solutions usage is a subject of subscription based licensing from which the partner receives margin.
Dynamics Mobile Services offered as part of the deal The Partner may offer solution delivery services as part of the deal to be provided by Dynamics Mobile Team. The partner receives partner margin from the services offered.
Dynamics Mobile Hardware offered as part of the deal The customer may need to use specific hardware in combination with Dynamics Mobile Solutions ( IoT/Vehicle trackers and sensors ). The Partner receives margin from the sold hardware.
Partner Services offered as part of the solution deal
Partner supplied hardware The partner may provide their own compatible hardware ( IoT/sensos, trackers, mobile devices ,etc.)
ERP licenses as per the ERP licensing policy
Upsells and cross-sales Once a solution is provided to the customer and thre customer starts using it successfully, the partner is in a good position to start upselling and crosselling other solutions and licenses to the customer.
